Education
I earned my doctorate for Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in Education with a concentration in Workforce Education and Development. In addition to my Ph.D, I've also earned a Masters of Science in Training, Development, and Performance Improvement and a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Technology for Northern Michigan University, as well as an Associates of Science in Graphic Communications for Moraine Park Technical College.

Teaching Experience
My teaching career started back at Northern in 1999 as a teaching assistant within the Department of Engineering Technology. While at NMU, I had the opportunity to assist in teaching undergraduate courses such as Industrial Supervision and Humanity and Technology. In addition to teaching on campus, I was also involved in developing and conducting training programs in industrial supervision, safety and quality.

In 2002, I was hired as an instructor by the Department of Industrial and Engineering Technology at Southeast Missouri State University. While at SEMO, I taught a variety of courses including: Technology and Society, Introduction to Graphics, Multicolor Print Processes, Introduction to Computer-Aided Drafting and Design, Design Modeling and Processes, and Advanced Production Drafting.

In the spring of 2007, I accepted a position within the School of Technology at Eastern Illinois University.
