WCMS Weather Team visit to

WCIA-TV, Champaign, IL

On Friday, May 3, 2002, the WCMS Weather Team traveled to WCIA-TV in Champaign, IL to tour the facilities and view the live noon news and weather report. They learned from broadcast meteorologist - Robert Reese about the many preparations necessary for producing a TV weather report, and watched him and his co-anchor Gabrielle Martin share the local and national news. They also had the special opportunity to videotape a weather report from behind the studio desk for broadcast back at CMS the following morning (See Quicktime link below).
