All of the photos on this page, except one, are from my "early days" at the Robinson (IL) Daily News.

Left, a rainy 1987 Fourth of July Celebration at Robinson City Park. Above, the Hutsonville Bridge demolition in 1989 was photographed with a radio-controlled camera while I shot with another camera from a boat on the river.

Below, the Marathon Oil Co. refinery at Robinson on a cold January 1976 night. This photo was taken before I joined the Daily News and won every amateur contest in which it was entered.

Above left, the Robinson Municipal Swimming Pool was a busy place on a hot day in August 1987. Above right, a worker puts the finishing touch to restoration of the Crawford County Courthouse clocks in 1985.
