Activities
|
- Discussion questions: What is a science project or
science fair?
- Language arts: Make up an advertisement for slime. Persuade
others to buy it.
- Writing: Write a story about what the slime ate next. Make up a title and one or two illustrations..
- Math: Use fractions to measure ingredients to make silly
putty or “Zlime” as a class activity.
- Science: Conduct simple science experiments or have a "Science"
extravaganza with lots of experiments. Recruit adult helpers.
- Social Studies: Why do we need schools? What would happen if schools disappeared?
- Drama: Have students read one page from the book "with feeling" and videotape
their reading.
- Cooking/Food: Create edible slime.
- Art: Analyze Gammell's art and create similar pictures.
