Welcome to Animal Physiology!
Pick up your Lab Manual as soon as possible. It must be purchased from the Biological Sciences Graduate Student Association in LFSA 1120. The price is $10.00.
Be sure to bring your Lab Manual, a calculator, and a flash drive to lab this week.
IMPORTANT: Read "How are Control Systems Controlled?" by Knut Schmidt-Nielsen prior to lab this week so that we can discuss it in lab.
PowerLab Worksheets are due next week (Sept. 2 or 3) in lab. Be sure you attach a printout from the PowerLab and two graphs to your worksheet.

Q: Why is blood considered a connective tissue? It doesn't connect or support body structures.
A: Blood doesn't fit neatly into any of the primary tissue types. It is classified as connective tissue
because it has a large amount of extracellular material.
