Question

Questions of general interest to the class will be posted here, along with answers
(or at least hints to help discover the answer).

Q:  Why is blood considered a connective tissue?  It doesn't connect or support body structures.

A:  Blood doesn't fit neatly into any of the primary tissue types.  It is classified as connective tissue

because it has a large amount of extracellular material.
