My duties include writing press releases, answering media inquiries, writing and editing copy for various university publications, and working on our Web site. As you can see, I have a lot on my, uh, plate.
I joined the staff of EIU's Department of University Communications in January 2005. I previously worked at the Journal Gazette/Times-Courier for nearly 10 years, first as a reporter, and later as a page designer, editor and writer.
I earned a degree from EIU's journalism department, I covered EIU as a reporter, and now I'm an EIU employee. You can't get much more EIU than that.
