CMS students braved the temperatures
and the darkness at Sister City Park to explore the heavens with an 8
inch Meade LX 200 Telescope on loan from the Near and Far Sciences
Initiative for Illinois. Coming Spring 2001 - CMS astronomy nights
using our own 8 inch Meade LX 90 which was funded by the Charleston
Excellence in Education Foundation.
