During the 2004/05 school year, twelve eighth grade CMS students were selected for the WCMS Weather Team. They worked under the supervision of EIU student - Zac Miller. These enthusiastic students arrived early each day to research, produce, and broadcast biweekly weather reports for viewing during afternoon announcements. Members of the team included Lauren Gardner, Andy Bays, Zack Spaniol, Oscar Gruber, Molly Kitchen, Kaci Abolt, Blair Jones, Noah Spence, Mindy Nelson, Taylor Bartlett, Samantha Buell, and Andrea Darimont.
