During the 2001/2002 school year, 8th grade students in Mr. McCollum's classes at Charleston Middle School in Charleston, Illinois are active participants in the new Passport to Knowledge initiative - Live From Mars 01/02. Throughout this exciting journey, they are learning the latest scientific findings about Mars and the 2001 Mars Odyssey mission from NASA scientists, and collaborating on projects with students from other schools across the country.
