Wallpaper Pattern Examples
Wallpaper Patterns are patterns are just what they sound like --- the
kinds of patterns that you might see on a wall that has been covered with
wallpaper! They could be extended to cover the entire plane. Each such
pattern has a fundamental block that could be slid in various directions
to stamp oput the entire pattern. There are often other symmetries in
commercial wallpaper and there are highly symmetric designs that youcan
create but would rarely be seen on a wall. Two examples of wallpaper
patterns are shown below. There are 17 distinct types of wallpaper
patterns.
