Where to find films:
Booth Library, local public libraries, regional
libraries are your best bet for “free” films.
Be sure to check into “interlibrary loan” using the
following link to search all libraries in Illinois.

This link will take you to the Virtual Illinois
Catalog where you can search Illinois’ 600
libraries and then order many items via “interlibrary
loan.” Locally, the Lincoln Trails Library
System does most of the delivering to Eastern.
Obviously, you can find lots of recent films at the
video rental stores. Charleston had 3 video rental
outlets until recently but now only has 1 which doesn’t
have a separate “foreign” film section unfortunately.
One
source that I haven’t tried but is very popular is video
rental by mail or by downloading the movie. The
rental is usually a set price ($15-18 per month) for as
many movies as you can watch with free shipping to and
from your home. If anyone has had experience using
