I am an analytical chemist teaching
primarily general chemistry, quantitative analysis, and instrumental analysis.
Current students should go to their course web site on WebCT, or whatever the
current system is called, to get course materials.
My research area is mostly
metal oxide surface chemistry including fundamentals and applications of these
materials for adsorption of heavy metal ions from aqueous solutions, and photocatalytic degradation reactions of organic
contaminants in aqueous solutions. Publications can be found in the link to my
