Excursions Bulletin Board and Online Quizzes

WebCT -- your online quizzes -- seems to be working alright -- most of the time and for most people. But the quizzes are still behaving strangely for some of you.

If you are still having trouble with the OnLine Quizzes, you might want to look at either of these web sites:

http://www.ux1.eiu.edu/~cflkw

Read the web page about Technical Issues.

http://www.webct.com/exchange/viewpage?name=exchange_browser_tuneup

and see if they provide any ideas or possible answers.

If you still have problems, just be sure I know about it. Check the records I post outside my door -- they are my official records -- and let me know if they need to be changed!

My hope is that you will find the Bulletin Board throughout this course. I expect this Bulletin Board to be useful. Please give me lots of feedback concerning this. I will try to refrain from answering your questions immediately. I want the Bulletin Board to be a means of exchanging ideas between and among students in this class. If you have a question for me, please come see me or send it to me by eMail.

There are Online Quizzes for each chapter. The deadline for these Online Quizzes is 1300 (that's one o'clock pm) of the day listed in this calendar for the homework from that chapter. The questions are given at the end of the assigned homework. The questions -- with their answers -- are repeated following that. You can take the Online Quizzes a maximum of five times. These Online Quizzes will be normalized to 100 points and count the same as one hour exam. There is no reason that everyone should not get 100 points on these Online Quizzes.

Just don't wait until the deadline. Computers are contankerous! Networks do go down!
