Yikes! Did you catch the typo -- or my inconsistency?
I didn't catch it either.
In the text part of the question I said the capacitance was 2500 microfarads.
But in the diagram, I listed it as 500 microfarads.
Therefore, of course, an answer based upon either of those values is acceptable.
