PHY1161 Bulletin Board

You will need a sign-on ID and a password. You will create those yourself.

Click on the link below to do that.

FIRST-TIME SIGNON

I suggest you use as your sign-on ID your first initial and your last name. My sign-on ID is DDavis (for Doug Davis).

The sign-on ID is CASE SENSITIVE. My sign-on ID is DDavis; all lower case, as ddavis, will NOT work.

For the first half of this course, there is a weekly requirement to post a question or an answer or a comment on the "current forum". The deadline is 1300 on each Friday. Please do not wait until late Friday morning to make a posting. These weekly Bulletin Board Postings will be normalized to 100 points and count the same as one hour exam. There is no reason that everyone should not get 100 points on these Bulletin Board Postings. They are required (and count toward points) only for the first half of this course. My hope is that you will find them useful by that time and will continue to use the Bulletin Board throughout the rest of this course. I expect this Bulletin Board to be useful. Please give me lots of feedback concerning this.

I expect my accounting of these postings to be a continual nightmare so please check on the postings outside my office door (Room 126) which will show what I have recorded for you. I expect to update these records about every two weeks.

Just don't wait until the deadline. Computers are contankerous! Networks do go down!
